This boy is a mess.  Likely a former hunting dog, he is malnourished with cuts and sores all over his ears. Copper was surrendered to a rural North Carolina high kill shelter.  He is about 5 years old and gets along with other dogs and people.  Typical of a hound, she likes to sniff and explore.
