Dog has the following behaviors/personality traits: Walks well on leash, does well in car, lap pet, protective when strangers are in the house, obedient, playful, affectionate, independent, even tempered, gentle, special diet - has a history of skin irritation - Purina sensitive skin and stomach dog food seems to be working well

Dog has the following compatibility qualities: Older considerate children only, Good for seniors / elderly, appropriate for apartment, appropriate for first time dog owner, does not chew on furniture - behaves well out of the crate when left at home alone.  She loves to lay in bed and show affection towards people.  She is protective of family.  

She was attacked by a small dog early in life so this may be why she is a bit fearful around small children and small dogs.
