Maddie was picked up as a stray and wound up at the local kill shelter in rural South Carolina.  She was most likely a hunting dog that was bred over and over and then left in the woods to fend for herself.  Maddie is heartworm positive and spayed.  Will you be the one to introduce her to your couch to live out her senior years?
