Sophia Needs A Home

Sophia is a boxer / pittie mix who was surrendered by her owners to a rural North Carolina county shelter.  She was scheduled to be euthanized on the day we rescued her.    She is about a year old and 38 pounds.  She is heartworm negative and has some small scars on her leg.  Sophia is a sweet and happy girl, but she doesn't understand why her people haven't come back for her.
