Pearl is a bulldog mix approximately 3 years of age. This little girl ended up in a rural North Carolina county kill shelter.  She was rescued the same week she was scheduled to be euthanized.  Sadly, Pearl had complications while being spayed and she had to be rushed to the hospital.  The doctors were able to save her, but they had to remove one of her kidneys to stop the internal bleeding.  She has recovered and is ready to be adopted.  This little girl is destined for some good luck soon.  Maybe you will be the good luck she needs?

A fenced yard and a leash are musts.  Pearl is seeking a family or person who can provide that balanced amount of play time and lying on the couch.  Pearl has been spayed.

If you'd like to meet Pearl, please complete an application at & be sure to mention her name - PEARL!  She will be in New Jersey after December 2nd.
