Rocky is a male American Pit Bull Terrier approximately nine months to one year of age. He is seeking a family or person who enjoys hugging, napping on the couch and watching him be silly.

Rocky ended up in an overcrowded kill shelter in rural North Carolina, but we don’t have much more information on him.  He is 50 pounds and full of smiles.

He would do well in a home with other pets.  Rocky is still in his puppy years, so he still tends to jump up to give you a big hug. Rocky is energetic and playful, but he also does not mind being lazy and just lying around the house.  Rocky has not yet been neutered.

Please feel free to contact his previous foster home in North Carolina, Chris Rogers at 973 975 8383 or crogers@giofund.org for more details.

If you'd like to meet him, please complete an application at www.ehrdogs.org & be sure to mention his name - ROCKY!  He will be in NJ and ready for adoption on Saturday, August 31st.
