Mabel is a hound mix, approximately 10 years old. She is seeking a family or person who will give her the attention and love she deserves.  Mabel recently had cancer on her from paw.  An amputation of her front leg was needed to stop it from spreading

Mabel ended up in an overcrowded kill shelter in rural North Carolina.  She was turned in because the owner could no longer care for her.  She is about 45 pounds and has reached her full grown size.

Mabel is extremely friendly around other dogs and cats.  She is not yet micro chipped.

Please feel free to contact the rescue in North Carolina, Chris Rogers at 973 975 8383 or crogers@giofund.org for more details.

If you'd like to meet Mabel, please complete an application at https://www.ehrdogs.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=13366304 & be sure to mention her names - Mabel!  Mabel will be in NJ and ready for adoption or a foster home in August.
