Cider aka Dixie is a three year old hound from rural NC. She was found wandering the street as a stray. She is a quiet, inquisitive girl who would love to be a part of your family.
Cider aka Dixie is a true southern belle, her gentle, sweet and loving demeanor are
remarkable. She looks at you with such a genuine sweetness and gratitude that
says it all. Her "rambunctious days" are behind her and she loves to "perch" and keep an eye on
everything. She is quiet, but playful, Loves toys and treats. Good with other
dogs and people. She's a little tentative on a leash but is doing well with her
harness and enjoys exploring. She also loves naps with her people. Cider aka Dixie
has has heart of gold and will follow and love those who love her. Your
life will be full with this little southern belle in your life! She is this and so much more, a little angle in fur....
She enjoys the company of other dogs. (Her experience with cats and children is unknown at this time.)
Cider is not yet spayed. She is also heartworm positive, so she will require some medical care to treat her for the condition. She is up to date on all shots. A fenced in yard is highly encouraged as she may be a flight risk.
