Send Mabel Some Good Vibes!

Did you know that the Gio Fund continues to cover medical costs of the dogs we pull until they are adopted?

Mabel was rescued after having one leg amputated due to cancer. In coordination with Eleventh Hour Rescue www.EHRDogs.org in Morris County, New Jersey, and A Shelter Friend www.AShelterFriend.org in rural Bladen County, North Carolina, we were able to pull her after her another rescue commitment fell through.

Sadly, Mabel has been diagnosed with more cancerous masses on her other front leg. This week, she will undergo surgery to remove the new masses.

To help us cover these additional medical costs and continue to fund saving more like her, please consider making a donation atwww.GioFund.org

Run Free Old Gal! We Will Miss You!

Old Gal was rescued right before Hurricane Florence in September of 2018. In coordination with Eleventh Hour Rescue www.EHRDogs.org in Morris County, New Jersey, and A Shelter Friendwww.AShelterFriend.org in rural Bladen County, North Carolina, we were able to pull her from the county kill shelter right before the hurricane and was placed into a foster home.

Sadly, Old Gal was later diagnosed with cancer in her abdomen. Because of her age and the advanced nature of her condition, she would not have survived surgery. However, thanks to our rescue partners and especially her foster Mom Melissa, Old Gal was able to experience living in a forever home during the last year of her life.

To honor Old Gal and help us continue to fund saving more like her, please consider making a donation at www.GioFund.org
